Heiko
Pleines is head of the Dept. of Politics and Economics at the Research Centre for East European Studies (Forschungsstelle Osteuropa) at the University of Bremen, Germany.
He studied at the School of Slavonic and
East European Studies (London) and the Ruhr-University (Bochum). He received
his PhD in political science at the Free University of Berlin and his "habilitation" in political science at the University of Bremen. His research
focuses among others on the role of non-state actors in EU governance. |
