Joanna Einbock (born Stefaniak) studied English linguistics, social psychology and European Studies in Hanover (Germany). Her MA thesis for European Studies was on Europeanisation of Polish civil society. Currently she works as EU projects assistant at the Research and Technology Transfer Center at Leibniz University Hanover (Germany).
In early 2005 she participated in an EU-funded project on new modes of governance in the EU (NEWGOV) headed by the European University Institute, Florence. Since June 2005 she has been a research associate at KICES. Her recent research concentrates on the activities of Polish trade unions at the EU level.
